About the RoleWe are looking for a
Junior AI Engineer
to join our team and help us integrate artificial intelligence into the future of architectural and engineering workflows. This role is ideal for someone passionate about
computer vision, generative AI, and data-driven automation in the built environment
. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to research, experiment, and build AI-powered solutions that enhance 3D visualization, design support, and property marketing.Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, training, and testing AI/ML models for architecture-focused use cases such as image-to-3D conversion, object recognition in CAD/BIM models, render optimization, and generative design outputs.
- Support data preparation by cleaning, preprocessing, and organizing large datasets of architectural drawings, 3D models, and renders for training AI models.
- Contribute to building and maintaining AI/ML pipelines for tasks like rendering automation, design validation, and generative visualization workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, visualization specialists, and engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
- Document models, experiments, and processes for internal knowledge sharing and iteration.
- Stay updated on emerging AI techniques in computer vision, generative AI, and 3D modeling and proactively explore how they can be applied to architectural visualization and marketing.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in AI/ML (academic projects or internships acceptable).
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
- Knowledge of computer vision principles (image classification, segmentation, object detection).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn quickly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to 3D graphics, rendering engines, or CAD/BIM data.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (diffusion models, GANs, LLMs for design automation).
- Basic understanding of geometry processing or 3D data handling.
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Prior work (academic or professional) on architecture/engineering datasets.
