Junior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (Advanced Excel Specialist) Location: Laketown , Kolkata Job Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant with strong knowledge of Advanced Excel to manage financial records, prepare reports, and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, accuracy in handling numbers, and the ability to automate and streamline reporting using Excel tools. Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books of accounts including Journal, Ledger, and Balance Sheet. Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. Utilize Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IFERROR, Power Query, Macros, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, etc.) for data analysis and reporting. Automate repetitive accounting reports and build dashboards for management review. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain data confidentiality and ensure timely reporting. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Proficiency in Advanced Excel (must-have). Experience with Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team. Educational Qualification:B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter or equivalent. Experience Required:Freshers Welcome Hands-on experience in financial reporting and Advanced Excel. Salary Range:₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month (depending on experience & location).
