About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Jr. Sous Chef with strong culinary expertise and leadership skills to support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of international and Indian cuisines, excellent kitchen management abilities, and the ability to maintain high-quality food standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sous Chef in planning, preparing, and executing daily menus.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality expectations.
  • Manage food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion control.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store/purchase department for timely stock replenishment.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (HACCP guidelines).
  • Ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Assist in creating new dishes, improving recipes, and maintaining consistency in taste.
  • Support in handling kitchen documentation, cost control, and wastage management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a commercial kitchen, hotel, or resort.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian, Continental, and multi-cuisine operations.
  • Ability to lead a kitchen team with confidence and discipline.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume operations.
  • Creativity in food presentation and menu development.

Preferred Background:

  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
  • Experience working in premium hotels/resorts .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
