Jr. Purchase Officer

Core Responsibilities: Material Procurement – Assist in identifying and purchasing materials, tools, and equipment as per project/site requirements. Supplier Coordination – Communicate with vendors to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries. Purchase Order Management – Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in ERP or procurement systems. Follow-Up on Deliveries – Monitor supplier delivery timelines and coordinate with site/store teams for receiving. Vendor Registration & Records – Maintain an updated database of approved suppliers with contact details and rate agreements. Rate Comparison & Quotation Analysis – Evaluate supplier quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and recommend cost-effective options. Invoice Verification – Cross-check purchase bills with POs and delivery notes before forwarding to accounts. Site Support – Coordinate with site engineers to understand urgent requirements and ensure timely supply. Compliance & Documentation – Ensure procurement activities follow internal policies and maintain audit-ready records. Reporting – Assist in preparing daily/weekly material status reports and consumption logs.
