Jr. Purchase Officer

Role Overview: As a Junior Purchaser in the refractory / manufacturing industry located in Raipur, your main responsibility will be to support procurement and store-related activities. You will be required to source materials, negotiate with vendors, and ensure the timely availability of required items to facilitate smooth plant operations. Key Responsibilities: - Handle day-to-day purchasing tasks for raw materials, consumables, and store items. - Process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records in collaboration with the store team. - Monitor and manage minimum stock levels to prevent shortages in the store. - Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ordered materials. - Assist in evaluating vendors and tracking supplier performance. - Maintain precise documentation of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and receipts. - Collaborate with the Purchase Manager on cost-saving initiatives and vendor development. Qualifications Required: - Graduation or Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Engineering. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or store management, preferably in manufacturing/refractory sector. - Basic understanding of procurement processes and inventory management. Additional Company Details: This is a full-time job that requires you to work in person at the specified location. Strong negotiation skills, effective communication, vendor management abilities, knowledge of inventory practices, and proficiency in MS Office/ERP systems will be beneficial for this role.
