Jr. Accountant

Position: Jr. Accountant Location: Bhandup, Mumbai Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in accounting practices for private and proprietorship companies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in balance sheet preparation, tax filing (both company and personal), inventory management, cost accounting, and warehouse accounting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for private and proprietorship companies. Develop, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets. Manage company and personal tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, and warehouse-related financial processes. Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements. Implement and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices. Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support business decisions. Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting and cost analysis. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Assist with financial planning and budgeting processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1 to 2 years of proven accounting experience, particularly with private and proprietorship companies. Comprehensive knowledge of balance sheet preparation and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with tax filing for companies and individuals. Strong background in inventory and cost accounting, with knowledge of warehouse operations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
