To visit all the theatres in schedule programme in order to keep a check on the men and materials of O.T. complex. To ensure that the patients are transferred from ward to OT complex and then to O.T as per the schedule. She should ensure cleaning of theater in service cases and also be present in OTs during surgery at random to check availability of material /or solve any problem therefore. To prepare a duty roster for the theatre staff and also arranging/adjusting for the staff on leaves. • To ensure close liaison with OT staff and Doctors so that negligence do not occur in the operation theater. Where absolutely necessary she/he should be ready to wash-up and assist the operating surgeons. To prepare a duty roster for the theatre staff and also arranging/adjusting for the staff on leaves. To maintain operation appointments registers and allot O.T. to the surgeons on first come first serve basis except in emergency/ special situations.
