About the Role As a Business Executive - Sales and Retention at Loop, you will play a key role in driving sales, customer goals, revenue expansion and product utilisation by ensuring the activation, engagement, success, retention, and growth of Loop s clients. This role is focused on high-impact, high-value activities in all aspects of business development and retention. What you would do: Keep track of the renewals becoming due in next 1 month for the clients assigned. Communicate to clients well in advance about their renewals. Collect policy copies from the prospective clients and share with the Underwriter, if required. Keep updated the presentation about the Company and services verticals and present the same before prospective clients when asked for. Assist prospective clients with filling out forms, communicating with the company, finding the best plans and strategies, and negotiating the final deals. Share client information with Underwriters to determine which products are best to recommend. Try to win accounts against competitors and Ensure 100% retention rate. After the renewals meet existing major clients periodically as directed in order to Build and maintain business relationships with clients. Preferred Skills: Understand the provisions of each policy and communicate this information to the customer. Act as a liaison between Underwriters/claims team and clients. Support claims team by helping them in collecting documents required from the clients. Research insurance trends, policies and products and keep track of changes happening in the Insurance Industry. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead Conversion : BDMs are responsible for converting leads into sales. They work on identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and presenting proper product knowledge. Client Follow-up : Following up with clients is a critical aspect of the BDM role. They keep in touch with existing customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, address any concerns, upsell or cross-sell products or services, and identify opportunities for further growth. Product Presentation : BDM will have to visit the customer in person and have to present the product and explain the cons. Negotiation & Convincing : BDM will have to negotiate with the client and convince the customer to buy our product at a price that is beneficial for both client and the organization. Connecting the customer with CRM : Post closure of the sale, BDM needs to Introduce the client to the CRM and share the case with the CRM in detail. Revenue Generation : BDMs contribute to the company's revenue growth by successfully closing deals, upselling or cross-selling to existing clients, and exploring new business opportunities. They focus on maximizing sales and increasing the organization's profitability. Lead Generation : When it is needed, BDMs proactively generate leads by identifying potential prospects through various channels, such as market research, networking events, referrals, or digital marketing strategies. They aim to generate a pipeline of qualified leads that can be converted into customers. Target Achievement : BDMs are responsible for achieving specific sales targets set by the company. They develop strategies, implement sales plans, and take necessary actions to meet or exceed the assigned goals. Cold Calling : BDMs often engage in cold calling activities to start the sale process with clients. They reach out to potential customers who may have shown interest or fit the target profile to introduce products or services and initiate sales conversations.
