Ensure consistency and performance of each batch against technical specifications. Investigate and resolve quality deviations, customer complaints, and product failures. Calibrate and maintain all laboratory instruments, titration setups, and analytical equipment. 2. Research & Development (R&D): Develop and improve formulations for surface treatment chemicals used in steel processing. Optimize chemical recipes for performance, cost-effectiveness, and environmental safety. Conduct product performance trials in coordination with customer feedback and internal benchmarking. Create prototypes for new products based on market trends and customer-specific requirements. Study chemical stability, compatibility, and shelf life of formulations under varying storage conditions. Collaborate with external labs for specialized testing or validation if required. 3. Process & Application Support: Provide technical support to production and plant operations for process consistency. Troubleshoot application-related issues in real-time during product use in steel plants or customer sites. Recommend suitable chemical usage concentrations, application conditions, and best practices to end users. Participate in plant trials at customer locations for validation of product performance. 4. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain MSDS, COAs, TDS, SOPs, and compliance documents for all chemical formulations. Support regulatory documentation and compliance with local pollution control board and industry-specific safety norms. Participate in audits and reviews related to QA, environment, and production safety. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure customer needs and technical capabilities align. Train plant operators and sales teams on technical aspects of the product line. Prepare technical presentations, lab reports, and product literature for internal and external use. 6. Innovation & Industry Trends: Stay updated on technological advancements and competitor products in the steel surface treatment sector. Explore eco-friendly alternatives and sustainable chemistries for current product lines. Attend technical workshops, webinars, or industry expos as a company representative.
