Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing the financial records of the company, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. Daily tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, handling tax returns, conducting financial audits, and providing accurate financial reports. The role also involves budget preparation, financial forecasting, and collaborating with internal teams to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in the jewelry or manufacturing industry is a required
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of local and international financial regulations and tax laws
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification preferred
