Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. Daily tasks also include coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances, preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements, and coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting. The Senior Accountant will also support month-end and year-end close processes and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
