In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative team to design, build, and enhance services within the Payments and Business Banking domain. You’ll be contributing to the delivery of scalable, secure solutions using TypeScript (Node.js)

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure microservices using TypeScript (Node.js)

· Support the implementation of cloud-native services on AWS, using tools such as Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Kafka (MSK).

· Translate technical and business requirements into well-structured, maintainable code.

· Contribute to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and follow best practices for clean code and testing.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product managers.

· Ensure work aligns with compliance, performance, and security requirements in financial services.

Tech Stack & Tools

· Languages: TypeScript (Node.js),

· Cloud: AWS (Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, Serverless Framework)

· CI/CD: GitHub Actions

· Integration: Kafka (MSK)

· Dev Tools: Visual Studio Code, UML

· Architecture Patterns: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Circuit Breaker

· Containers: Docker (Kubernetes experience is a plus)

Required Skills & Experience

· 4 to 7+ years of experience in software development, preferably in backend or full-stack roles.

· Proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js)

· Experience working with AWS services in production environments.

· Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

· Exposure to event-driven systems and tools like Kafka.

· Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile delivery practices.

· Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

· Payments or financial services experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

· Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular using TypeScript.

· Awareness of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
