Title: Java Developer (J2EE)

Role:

As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and customize software configurations that align with business process designs and application requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support software configuration and customization activities.
• Develop complex, event-driven/reactive systems that are fault-tolerant and globally distributed.
• Build high-performance applications using Java/C++ with strong emphasis on concurrency, networking, and algorithms.
• Deliver ultra-low latency and/or high throughput solutions for domains such as Financial Markets or Big Data Analytics.
• Ensure solution quality by applying Agile methodologies, test-driven development, and code best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
• Support build automation and version control processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  Java Enterprise Edition

  (minimum 5 years).
• Solid understanding of

  data structures, algorithms, and networking protocols

  (TCP/UDP).
• Experience in

  concurrency, memory management, and Linux internals

  .
• Knowledge of

  GC, JNI, Java Unsafe, JNR-FFI

  (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with

  version control systems

  (Git, Subversion) and

  build tools

  (Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (

  Python, Kotlin, Shell

  ) for tooling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  C++ programming

  and low-latency systems.
• Exposure to

  CPU/GPU architecture

  and shared memory concepts.
• Knowledge of

  Aeron

  framework.
• Understanding of full software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
