Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Java backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring robustness, security, and backward compatibility across services.
• Implement persistence solutions with Hibernate/JPA and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Integrate services into CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy) and ensure automated quality checks and release readiness.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to define technical requirements, perform code reviews, and ship iterative improvements.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, profile application performance, and implement improvements for reliability and observability.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience with Java backend development using Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Practical experience with microservices patterns and service-to-service communication.
• Strong knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with version control and build tooling: Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD concepts.
  

Preferred

• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker and AWS/GCP fundamentals).
• Hands-on with unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and observability tools.
