Job Description

Your ImpactThe IT Systems Administrator is a technical leader within the IT Operations team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. They play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the IT environment. They serve as a technical architect and coach for the IT team, and implement valuable enhancements to systems and processes based on deep understanding of business operations.

What You'll Do

Identity Ownership: Key responsibility for all Identity systems at DISCO. Build and maintain the most secure solutions to enable business teams to serve internal and external customers quickly and efficiently.
Virtualization Ownership: Design, implement and employ continuous improvement methodologies to DISCO virtualization services (AWS). Partner with business teams to proactively build solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging automation to support functional processes.
IT Systems Management: Work with the IT team to administer, monitor, and maintain the organization's IT systems, including virtual systems and networks, physical networks, engineering tooling as well as collaboration tools.
Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and ensure scalability and reliability.
Security and Compliance: Enforce IT security policies and best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide escalated technical support for complex IT issues and coordinates with vendors when necessary.

Who You Are

3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure management roles.
Experience with Okta administration, including application integrations
Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
Understanding of technical concepts like mail flow, backup and recovery, network architecture, Infrastructure as a Service and more.
Strong technical knowledge of IT operations and technology
Experience with low code or no code automation tools
Highly organized, detail oriented and naturally collaborative
