Job Summary:

The Junior IT Support Engineer will assist in maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT assets, coordinating with vendors or consultants, and supporting users across the organization.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting the organization’s workstations and servers.
  • Provide IT assistance for meeting room setups and online conferences.

System Administration:

  • Install and update operating systems and software applications.
  • Create and manage email accounts, software licenses, and system access for new users.
  • Support data backup activities and basic database management.
  • Assist in managing the server room and ensuring proper system functioning.

Asset & Policy Management:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of IT hardware and software inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and help communicate updates to users.
  • Coordinate with consultants or vendors for system updates and troubleshooting.

Cybersecurity & Maintenance:

  • Follow cybersecurity best practices and assist in monitoring systems for potential risks.
  • Perform regular checks to ensure data safety and backup completion.
  • Support CCTV system maintenance and ensure functionality.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office 365, LAN/WAN, and server environments.
  • Understanding of IT security principles and backup systems is an advantage.
