IT Support Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, assisting users with troubleshooting, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via help desk software, email, or phone.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and assist with user access requests.
• Maintain and configure computer networking components such as LAN setups and TCP/IP configurations.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware, including computers and peripherals.
• Document issues and solutions in a clear manner for future reference.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends to provide informed support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role or help desk environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
• Familiarity with Active Directory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems is advantageous.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused attitude.
