Role & responsibilities Lead and manage the entire maintenance department, including mechanical, electrical, and utility maintenance teams. Plan, schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery including weaving,dyeing, finishing, cutting, stitching, and packaging units. Ensure all machines and utility equipment are in optimal working condition. Minimize downtime through effective planning, monitoring, and quick troubleshooting of breakdowns. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to avoid operational disruptions. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with production and quality departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring mechanical/electrical failures and implement long-term corrective actions. Develop maintenance KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend cost-effective improvements. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians. Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers for maintenance support and upgrades. Preferred candidate profile: Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in textile, weaving manufacturing plants. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred); degrees in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering may be considered with relevant experience. Proven leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of textile production machinery and related systems. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and compliance requirements
