Job Summary
We have an immediate need for an internal IT Site Engineer in our Chennai, India office. The IT Site Engineer will report to the Senior Manager of IT Operations located in the U.S. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver the IT services for MX employees in our Chennai, India office, comprehensive service desk and system administration functions, as well as oversight of facilities activities specific to our operations in India.
Job Duties
- Provide internal support for IT questions, incidents, issues, and requests
- Collaborate closely with teammates in the U.S. to provide cross-site coverage
- IT inventory, asset tracking, and organization
- Shipping and receiving IT equipment such as laptops and monitors
- Setup and troubleshoot AV equipment; provide support, training, and assistance for audio-visual equipment in conference rooms, in open-use areas, and for company meetings
- Setup employee workstations and peripherals
- Employee onboarding and training on how to access and use company systems
- Create knowledge articles for common questions or processes
- Work with the Finance team for local IT purchasing of hardware and software
- Work with US team to maintain networking, CCTV, AV equipment and other equipment located at MX Chennai office
Basic Requirements
- Demonstrate ownership of the user experience in the Chennai office
- Four or more years of technical experience, including service desk and system administration responsibilities
- Strong knowledge and experience with macOS, iOS, and Android
- Experience supporting Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity operating audio and video equipment
- Experience supporting network printers
- Experience using Endpoint Management tools such as Kandji and Intune
- Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot technical issues
- Track work in an IT Service Management System system such as ServiceNow
- Understanding of the ITIL framework
Advanced Requirements
- Experience supporting Windows, Slack, and Zoom
- Server and Network Administration
- Cloud Identity and Access Management (Okta, GCP, AWS, etc.)
- Experience working with American companies
- Flexible schedule to meet on US morning/India evening hours a few times a week

Compensation
The expected earnings for this role could be comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions as applicable.This pay range is just one component of MX’s total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
