Job Description:

An IT Sales Executive sells technology solutions, focusing on identifying client needs, presenting tailored software/hardware/cloud services, negotiating deals, and maintaining relationships to meet sales targets, often involving both technical understanding and business acumen for prospecting, demos, proposals, and closing. Key duties include lead generation, pipeline management, collaborating with technical teams, reporting, and staying updated on tech trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Find new clients via cold calling, networking, and social selling.
  • Client Needs Analysis: Understand business challenges and determine suitable IT solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling product demos and pitches, explaining technical features.
  • Proposals & Contracts: Prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate deals to close sales.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong bonds with existing and new clients for retention and growth.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Reporting: Maintain CRM records and provide sales forecasts to management.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication & negotiation skills.
  • Technical knowledge (software, hardware, cloud).
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • CRM proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of the technology industry and market trends.
