Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Resource Manager with strong IT knowledge and proven experience in resource planning to join a newly formed team within a global technology organization. This role sits at the core of Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), driving performance by ensuring the right skills are deployed at the right time across multiple IT projects, programs, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage resource allocation and demand matching for

  up to 500 roles

  (employees and contractors) across multiple locations and business lines.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and availability of resource management data to support decision-making at all levels.
• Identify current and future skills or capability gaps and provide relevant insights and reporting to leadership.
• Oversee resource release processes and ensure smooth transitions across assignments.
• Collaborate with the IT Sourcing team on contractor sourcing, from request to onboarding.
• Manage escalations regarding resource allocation conflicts or bottlenecks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the ERM team, including process optimization and tooling enhancements.
• Act as liaison between delivery teams and resource supply, maintaining trust-based relationships with diverse, mainly virtual stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of effective resource management frameworks, even in areas where processes are evolving.

Required Qualifications

• Solid background in

  IT

  combined with experience in

  resource management

  , workforce planning, or talent strategy.
• Proven track record implementing resourcing and talent solutions across diverse workforce models (employees, contractors, hybrid teams).
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills at all levels.
• Ability to deliver in a maturing business model and navigate ambiguity where frameworks are still developing.
• Experience engaging with external suppliers and vendor partners.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Resource demand validation
• Allocation and de-allocation processes
• KPI tracking and reporting
• Workforce analytics and dashboards
• Understanding of IT project and service delivery roles, skills, and resourcing needs.
• Experience in team leadership, and project/program management exposure is a strong advantage.
