IT Procurement Specialist

As an IT Procurement Specialist based in Kolkata with 4-6 years of experience, your role will involve analyzing the IT needs of the organization, identifying and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, overseeing the ordering process, ensuring quality assurance, managing supplier relationships, inventory, record-keeping, compliance, and problem resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze IT Needs: Assess the IT needs of the organization to determine the necessary equipment, software, and services. - Vendor Research: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet the organization's requirements. - Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals. - Order Management: Oversee the ordering process to ensure timely delivery of IT resources. - Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured items meet specified quality standards. - Supplier Relationships: Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. - Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of IT resources and ensure they are updated as necessary. - Record Keeping: Maintain records of purchases, contracts, and invoices. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. - Problem Resolution: Handle any issues or problems that arise with orders or suppliers.
