Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the IT Process Automation roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify automation opportunities across IT and business functions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage automation developers and analysts.
• Allocate resources, oversee workloads, and ensure timely delivery of automation projects.
  

Technical Oversight

• Oversee development and deployment of automation workflows using tools such as ServiceNow Workflow Studio or similar ITPA platforms.
• Ensure best practices, security, compliance, and documentation standards are met.
• Review technical designs, scripts (Python/PowerShell), and workflow implementations.
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with IT operations, application teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Communicate project updates, risks, benefits, and ROI to leadership.
• Deliver high-impact presentations showcasing automation strategy and outcomes.
  

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor automation performance and implement enhancements for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in automation, orchestration, and AI-driven process optimization.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of IT process automation experience.
• 1+ years in a leadership or team management role.
• Hands-on experience with ITPA tools (ServiceNow Workflow Studio or similar).
• Strong scripting skills (Python or PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience mentoring/leading automation teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Stability in career (minimum ~2 years per organization).
• Willingness to relocate to Chennai.
• Notice period: 15–60 days.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience leveraging AI/ML for advanced process automations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), networking basics, cybersecurity fundamentals, and virtualization (VMware, Citrix).
• Certifications in ITPA tools or ITIL.
• Experience in ensuring automation security, compliance, and performance optimization.

• Candidates from product-based or service-based organizations.
