About The Role

IT Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, networks, and hardware equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
• Monitor network performance, ensure connectivity, and resolve downtime concerns.
• Install and update operating systems, antivirus, and security tools.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and update logs.
• Provide on-site support for day-to-day IT operations.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and company standards.
  

Required Skills

• Knowledge of OS installation, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical aptitude.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to IT issues.
• Good communication and a proactive work approach.

• System & Hardware Management
• Maintain 100% uptime of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Ensure timely installation, configuration, and upgrading of systems.
• Keep all IT assets updated and functioning without delays.
• Technical Issue Resolution
• Resolve hardware and software issues within defined TAT.
• Reduce repeated technical complaints through root-cause analysis.
• Maintain service logs for every issue closed.
• Network Stability & Security
• Monitor network performance daily and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Implement security tools and ensure protection against system vulnerabilities.
• Maintain updated OS, antivirus, and security patches.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain IT inventory, system update logs, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Submit weekly reports on issues resolved, maintenance conducted, and pending tasks.
• Record vendor coordination activities and repair timelines.
• Operational Support
• Provide timely support for daily IT operations for all departments.
• Ensure smooth functioning of meeting rooms, internet, and technical setups.
• Assist in new employee system setup and onboarding.
