Job Description

Bolla operates 200+ Retail Gas Stations with Convenience Stores (C-Stores) and automotive repair shops. Bolla partners with major food chains like Burger King, Tim Horton, Pizza Hut and Subway.

Bolla is a premier Wholesale and Retail Motor Fuel (MF) supplier in Metro New York and New Jersey areas. Through our Bolla Transport division the company hauls Motor Fuel in both New York and New Jersey areas. We supply MF to our 200+ locations as well as an additional 100 Wholesale Dealers. It also constructs Ultra-Modern and upscale Gas Stations with C-Stores.

Bolla has over one Billion dollars in revenues and employs over 1200 Team Members.

Mandatory Requirements

  • knowledge of SQL 2019 Server (SQL1) for querying, executing, data manipulation, and integration tasks.
  • Practical understanding of Python for web scraping, particularly in automating data extraction workflows from merchant processor portals into SAP B1. (will be tested during the Interview).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and VBA macros for automation and workflow optimization.
  • Experience working with a variety of database systems.
  • Ability to map and reconcile financial data across systems.
  • Hands-on experience using Power BI for creating interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Data Analytics.
  • Skilled in VBA Macros.
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 database systems.
  • Familiarity with Python web scraping.
  • Basic understanding of GL accounting in an ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate data from multiple front-end systems into accounting software.
  • Integrate and consolidate data from multiple front-end systems, ensuring seamless and accurate import into accounting and ERP platforms.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust integration controls, while applying data security measures to protect sensitive information throughout the workflow.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems by actively developing, debugging, and optimizing Power BI reports, datasets, and workflows.
  • Analyze data trends, anomalies, and patterns to support integration processes and troubleshoot issues within business software applications.
  • Design and automate reporting processes and data integration workflows using Power Automate, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • Build automated tools to conduct detailed comparisons across two to three datasets, validating accuracy across systems and identifying discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain VBA macros to extract, cleanse, consolidate, and transform data from multiple sources in accordance with defined business logic.
  • Format and merge datasets into unified, structured outputs aligned with business needs, facilitating improved decision-making and streamlined reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, team collaboration, and high attention to detail in all phases of data integration and reporting initiatives.

Technical Experience

Three years of experience with Microsoft Access database design and development and VBA programming including ETL experience

· Two years of experience with developing Microsoft Automation applications in Excel

· Hands on experience on design or modify software, systems, and applications using Visual Basic

· Experience on VB.NET, Microsoft Access, and MySQL Professional Attributes

· Two years of experience with Access databases and SQL Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

· Must be able effectively write SQL Queries

· Expert in Excel VBA programming and coding

· Technical expertise (demonstrate with examples)

· Knowledge of programming languages like C#, Java, Python, or PHP is a huge plus.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Integration Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel & SQL.
  • Experience with diverse database systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization & reporting.
  • strong preference for exposure to SAP Business One (SAP B1). familiarity with SSCS and PDI platforms will be plus.
  • Basic working knowledge of General Ledger (GL) accounting concepts within an ERP environment.
