IT Business Partner

Role & responsibilities

As IT Business partner for vertical, you will be part of IT Engineering organization, reporting directly to Head of IT Engineering & Development Excellence. This role is responsible for partnership various domains of COE and related product lines to establish product development and validation processes & systems, including validation, laying robust IT foundations, including toolsets for product development and release. You shall understand the future state of given areas in organizations and contribute towards NPI 2.0, working closely with process and business stakeholders. The role includes ownership of related IT landscape, resources and costs for given area. Strong collaboration with broader IT organization in terms of security, infrastructure, SW development, EA and Data excellence teams, with aim to optimize costs and rationalize complexity. Responsible for IT activities for the site, including co-ordination with broader teams, needed for certification

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Management
   • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver cost-effective and efficient systems solutions for addressing business challenges, in alignment with company's IT strategy• Tackle complex business issues and offer innovative solutions, utilizing domain expertise and business intelligence to facilitate high-quality decision-making.• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and establish partnership, effectively communicating progress, decision-making processes, and prioritization.- Frequent business impact related communication in case of service disruptions- Create business communications, share IT risk and contingency plans with respective business stakeholders. Partner with process champions & Enterprise Architecture , to build NPI 2.0 landscape with processes beneath it. • Influence stakeholders and collaborate with System Engineering teams for product development using MBSE methods and tools
2. People leadership & Organizational / Capability Development
   • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships within IT and direct organization, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages open communication, knowledge sharing, and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives
3. Service Operations & Efficiency
   • Actively coordinate all phases of project from concept, project planning, development, execution, monitoring to project closure• Drive the system changes on ALM and system engineering, including productivity initiatives aligned with Demand Management • Drive change management and be key in implementing change in the organization
4. Collaborate with extended IT teams (DevExcellence, Data Excellence) to lay foundations for V-model product development, including collaboration with Simulation Automation team

   Education / Qualifications

Bachelor's OR Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Experience Required

1. At least 10-12 years of experience in the field of SDLC, project management, and execution.
2. Significant experience with large engineering enterprise systems, especially in definition and implementation (minimum 5-7 years.)
3. Experienced with cloud-based systems and architecture in terms of integrating on cloud AWS and others
4. Strong business partnership and collaboration skills, in terms of understanding the need and translating them to IT solutions, including influencing business stakeholders in alignment with Garrett IT strategy
