Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven IT Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or IT services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and supporting sales efforts in the technology domain.

Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Strategy

  • Identify potential clients in the IT sector (e.g., software, cloud services, managed IT services).
  • Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
  • Support the development of sales strategies and outreach plans.

Lead Generation & Sales

  • Generate leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking events.
  • Assist in qualifying leads and setting up meetings with decision-makers.
  • Present IT solutions to clients in a professional manner (training will be provided).
  • Support sales presentations and product demos.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build rapport with potential and existing clients through regular communication.
  • Gather and understand client requirements to pass along to technical teams.
  • Maintain a client database using CRM software.

Proposal & Contract Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Help the sales team in drafting and reviewing client communications.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Coordinate with developers and project managers to understand the solutions being offered.
  • Help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Post-Sales Follow-Up

  • Follow up with clients after onboarding to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and deals in the CRM.
  • Report sales activity and progress to the Business Development Manager.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT products/services (cloud, software, cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is a plus
  • MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • Internship or 0–1 year of experience in sales, business development, or IT services preferred
  • Strong interest in technology and B2B sales
