1. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives and international sales targets.
2. Identify and explore new market opportunities, assess market trends, and competitor activities to formulate effective marketing strategies.
3. Find profitable product lines for the organization, focusing on emerging trends such as Vegan Foods, Frozen, Millets, Plant-based Protein, and the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Ready-to-Cook (RTC) categories.
4. Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, agents, and key accounts to expand the company's global distribution network.
5. Manage and lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to execute sales plans and marketing activities.
6. Conduct market research, customer surveys, and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends.
7. Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and advertising, to promote the company's products and generate leads.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
9. Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitors' activities to identify areas for improvement and develop effective sales strategies.
10. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in international sales and marketing.
11. Represent the company at international trade exhibitions, conferences, and events to showcase our products and services and establish valuable connections with potential international clients. This includes planning and coordinating all aspects of participation, such as booth set-up, product demonstrations, and attending networking events.
1. Master OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in international sales and marketing within the food industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
3. In-depth knowledge of international markets, export regulations, and distribution channels within the food industry.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with international partners and clients.
6. Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
8. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
