Position Overview

The International Admissions & Outreach Officer/Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and enroll international students. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with overseas partners, schools, universities, and agents, while ensuring a smooth admissions process for prospective students. The position requires strong communication, cross-cultural understanding, and networking skills to promote the institution globally.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions Management

• Manage the entire international admissions cycle—from inquiry handling to application processing and final enrollment.
• Counsel and guide prospective international students and parents regarding programs, eligibility, scholarships, and admission procedures.
• Coordinate with academic departments and administrative offices to ensure seamless application evaluation, visa documentation, and onboarding.
• Monitor admission targets and provide regular reports on application trends, conversion rates, and student demographics.

International Outreach & Recruitment

• Develop and implement international recruitment strategies in alignment with institutional goals.
• Represent the institution at international fairs, exhibitions, school visits, and virtual events.
• Establish and strengthen partnerships with overseas schools, universities, education consultants, and government agencies.
• Create and manage outreach campaigns (digital, print, and in-person) targeting key international markets.

Marketing & Promotion

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials tailored for international audiences.
• Utilize digital platforms, social media, and CRM tools to engage prospective students.
• Highlight alumni success stories, international collaborations, and campus facilities to enhance global visibility.

Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with recruitment agents and partners, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and ethical practices.
• Serve as a liaison between international students and institutional departments for smooth integration.
• Coordinate pre-arrival and orientation programs for international students.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with visa regulations, government policies, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain accurate records of international student applications, admissions, and enrollment data.
• Prepare periodic reports on market trends, competitor analysis, and recruitment effectiveness.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of international education systems, student mobility trends, and visa processes.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
• MBA Preferred
• 3–8 years of experience in international admissions, student recruitment, or higher education outreach.
• Experience representing institutions at international platforms and managing agent networks.
• Multilingual ability (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
