Job Description

Job Summary: The Manager of University Relations is responsible for developing and executing strategic university engagement programs that strengthen the organization’s presence on college campuses. This role leads campus recruiting initiatives, builds relationships with faculty and student organizations, and ensures a pipeline of emerging talent through internships, co-ops, and entry-level programs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement university relations strategies aligned with the organization’s talent acquisition goals. Establish and nurture relationships with key universities, including career services, professors, student groups, and administrators. Plan and execute on-campus and virtual recruiting events such as career fairs, information sessions, workshops, and hackathons. Partner with business leaders to identify hiring needs for internships, co-ops, and entry-level roles. Manage end-to-end campus recruiting efforts including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Track and analyze metrics related to campus recruitment, candidate conversion, and program ROI. Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internship and early-career development programs. Act as a brand ambassador to promote the employer brand on campus and through social media. Collaborate with Diversity & Inclusion teams to ensure diverse pipelines from university partners. Stay current on industry trends, university landscapes, and competitor activity in campus recruiting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in university relations, campus recruiting, or talent acquisition. Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships with academic institutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and campus recruiting tools (e.g., Handshake, Symplicity). Ability to travel to campuses and events as needed (10–25%). Preferred Skills: Experience developing and scaling internship and early-career programs. Familiarity with employer branding, event planning, and digital recruiting campaigns.
