Job Highlight:


The Human Resources Intern will support the HRPP (Human Resource Program Partner) team in developing an interview template and structure to strengthen talent assessment and hiring processes. The role involves conducting research, benchmarking best practices, and supporting the design and development of templates, guides, and related documentation. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to a strategic HR project with direct mentorship and hands-on involvement.


What you will do:

  • Assist the HRPP team in mapping newly developed competencies to Job Descriptions (JDs) across various functions. Review existing JDs and ensure alignment with the competency framework, including behavioural, technical, and leadership competencies.
  • Support the creation of standardized JD templates to ensure consistency across the institute.
  • Support the design of structured interview templates based on the competency framework and develop question banks for behavioural, situational, and role-specific assessments.
  • Work with HRPPs to create scoring rubrics, assessment guides and interviewer instructions.
  • Ensure templates are user-friendly, inclusive, and aligned with WRI India’s hiring policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with HRPPs, hiring managers, and relevant stakeholders to collect inputs and validate templates.
  • Co-ordinate the review meetings, workshops, or feedback sessions.


What you will need:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work with templates, frameworks, and structured formats.
  • Strong research, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with HR concepts, particularly in recruitment or competency-based assessments, preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); working knowledge of design tools such as Canva is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to organize information effectively, and work independently with guidance.
  • Prior HR internship or academic project in HR, recruitment, or organisational design is preferred.
  • Ability to commit to the internship duration as required by the project (e.g., 3–6 months)
