Interior Project Supervisor

Job SummaryThe Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall on-site execution, supervision, and quality control of home furnishing installation projects. This role ensures that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality and customer satisfaction, specifically focusing on furniture, modular systems, and interior décor elements. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Supervision: Oversee and manage the day-to-day installation activities of installation teams, carpenters, and sub-contractors on client sites. Ensure all furnishings (e.g., modular kitchens, wardrobes, sofas, lighting) are installed according to design specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards. Conduct pre-installation site checks to verify measurements, readiness, and coordinate necessary preparations. Quality Control & Safety: Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure superior finishing and adherence to product specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any defects, installation issues, or deviations from the plan promptly. Ensure all on-site personnel comply with company and statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations. Team & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage the schedules, deployment, and performance of installation teams and third-party contractors. Provide on-site training and guidance to installers on proper techniques for handling and setting up specific furnishing products. Manage resource allocation, including tools, equipment, and consumables, to maximize efficiency. Logistics & Inventory: Verify the timely and accurate delivery of all products and materials to the site. Conduct inventory checks of delivered items against the Bill of Materials (BOM) and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on-site to prevent damage. Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the Project Manager, design team, and the client. Provide regular, detailed progress reports, daily logs, and status updates to the Project Manager. Handle client queries, concerns, and feedback professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary. Project Closure: Oversee the final snagging, touch-ups, and cleaning phases of the installation. Obtain sign-offs and completion certificates from the client upon successful handover. Requirements and Qualifications Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
