The Role

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Interior Designer to join our Ahmedabad team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming concepts into reality, possess strong technical skills, and have proven experience managing design projects from initial brief through to final execution. This role requires excellent client-facing communication and a keen eye for local material sourcing and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities.

Design and Concept Development

• Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative interior design solutions based on client requirements, budget, and project timelines.
• Prepare detailed design presentations, including mood boards, material palettes, 3D renderings, and spatial planning layouts.
• Conduct thorough site visits, measure existing conditions, and prepare detailed drawings (2D plans, elevations, sections) using CAD software.

II. Documentation and Execution

• Develop comprehensive working drawing sets (GFC - Good For Construction) for contractors, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC coordination plans.
• Specify and select finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and availability in the local Ahmedabad market.
• Maintain organized documentation of all project specifications, vendor quotations, and material samples.

III. Project Management and Coordination

• Act as the primary design point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise site execution periodically to ensure strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets related to materials and finishes, and proactively resolve any on-site design conflicts or technical challenges.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably managing projects independently.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard software: AutoCAD (mandatory), SketchUp or Revit (strong advantage), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).
• Thorough understanding of materials, construction methods, and building codes relevant to the Ahmedabad/Gujarat region.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of completed interior projects (residential and commercial).

Preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Gujarati/Hindi.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise design documentation.
