Job Description: General Physician
- Company: Infinite Spiritual Lifestyle Location: Mount Abu, Rajasthan/Gujarat Border Department: Healthcare Services (ICU on Wheels & Nature Cure Centre) Reports To: Head of Healthcare/Wellness Centre Direct Reports: Nurses, Paramedics, Ambulance Drivers Job Summary: The General Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive, 24/7 medical coverage, emergency response, and clinical oversight across the entire Infinite Spiritual Lifestyle campus. This role requires clinical excellence in both emergency and general practice settings, with a commitment to integrating conventional medicine with holistic wellness practices for residents and guests.
- 1. Core Clinical Responsibilities
- The GP's primary duties center on patient care, emergency management, and integrated health services:
- A. Emergency and Critical Care
- 24/7 Availability: Ensure continuous medical availability, including rotation shifts, to address health issues and emergencies arising among residents, guests, and staff across the property.
- ICU on Wheels Oversight: Serve as the lead clinician for the ICU on Wheels unit, taking charge of all medical emergencies and stabilization procedures during transport or on-site critical events.
- Crisis Management: Quickly assess, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions, initiating necessary life support and transfer protocols to external hospitals when required.
- Medical Equipment: Ensure all medical equipment, particularly in the emergency unit, is maintained, calibrated, and immediately functional.
- B. General & Integrated Practice
- Outpatient Care: Conduct daily consultations, diagnoses, and treatment of general illnesses, chronic disease management, and minor injuries for the community.
- Health Assessments: Perform routine physical examinations and wellness screenings for new residents and employees, establishing baseline health data.
- Pharmaceutical Management: Oversee the proper storage, dispensing, and inventory control of essential medications and supplies.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous, confidential, and compliant medical records for all patients and services rendered.
- C. Collaboration with Wellness Team
- Integrative Approach: Work collaboratively with the Ayurveda Practitioners, Physiotherapists, and Wellness Therapists to design integrated treatment plans that blend conventional medicine with natural cure therapies.
- Referral & Consultation: Provide informed medical clearance and guidance for residents participating in specialized nature cure and holistic programs.
- 2. Team Leadership and Compliance
- Staff Oversight: Lead and mentor the Nurses and Paramedic staff, providing clinical guidance, regular training, and performance feedback.
- Protocol Development: Develop and enforce standardized medical protocols for common emergencies, infection control, and daily clinical procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all healthcare operations and the Nature Cure & Wellness Centre adhere strictly to medical ethics, patient confidentiality standards, and all relevant national and state health regulations.
- 3. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) is mandatory. A post-graduate qualification (e.g., M.D. in General Medicine or Family Medicine) is highly preferred.
- Registration: Must possess valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the relevant state medical council.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of post-internship clinical experience, with significant exposure to Emergency Medicine/Critical Care and general practice. Experience in a residential, retreat, or high-end hospitality environment is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Exceptional diagnostic abilities, calm demeanor under emergency pressure, proficiency in minor surgical procedures, and familiarity with emergency life support protocols (ACLS/BLS certification preferred).
