Reports To: General Manager / Director of Operations

Direct Reports: Security Guards, CCTV Monitoring Staff

Job Summary: The Chief Security Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all security policies, personnel, and systems across the entire campus. The CSO’s primary goal is to ensure the absolute safety and privacy of residents, guests, staff, and assets, managing risks discreetly to maintain the tranquil and spiritual integrity of the environment.

1. Strategic Leadership and Risk Management

A. Security Policy & Planning

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement a holistic, layered security strategy covering physical perimeter security, access control, internal security procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct continuous vulnerability and threat assessments across all wings (Healthcare, Accommodation, Commercial areas) to proactively mitigate potential risks.
  • Security Technology: Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of all security technology, including CCTV monitoring systems, access control systems, and alarm infrastructure.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and manage comprehensive emergency protocols for fire, medical crises (in coordination with the General Physician), natural disasters, and security breaches, ensuring rapid and calm execution.

B. Team Management & Training

  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the team of Security Guards (12) and CCTV Monitoring Staff (3), establishing clear, high standards for professionalism, vigilance, and discretion.
  • Drills & Readiness: Schedule and execute regular security drills, scenario training, and compliance checks to ensure all security personnel and facility staff are prepared for contingencies.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary liaison with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services in Mount Abu.

2. Operational & Cross-Departmental Security

A. Physical and Access Control

  • Perimeter Integrity: Ensure the physical integrity of the perimeter and all property boundaries, utilizing both physical presence and technological surveillance.
  • Discreet Access Management: Manage resident, guest, vendor, and staff access control systems, ensuring security measures are highly effective yet unobtrusive to the spiritual atmosphere.
  • Vigilance: Oversee 24/7 monitoring of all areas via the CCTV Monitoring Staff, focusing on preventing theft, unauthorized access, and maintaining crowd control during events.

B. Collaboration for Serenity

  • Facilities Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Facility Manager to ensure security infrastructure (gates, lighting, cameras) is maintained and integrated with the overall smart building systems.
  • Privacy Assurance: Work with the Accommodation Manager to implement strict protocols safeguarding resident and guest privacy and confidentiality, which is paramount in a spiritual setting.
  • Healthcare Support: Coordinate with the General Physician and healthcare team on protocols for securing sensitive medical areas, controlling access to the ICU on Wheels unit, and managing external ambulance transfers.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred. Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP) are a significant advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in security management. Preference for candidates with a background in Ex-Military/Police Services or experience as a Security Head in a large corporate campus, luxury hospitality, or integrated facility setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proven expertise in modern security technologies (CCTV analytics, advanced access control, fire detection systems).
  • Compliance: Expert knowledge of local and national security regulations and mandatory reporting requirements in India.

4. Cultural & Spiritual Competencies (Mandatory)

  • Calm Authority: Ability to exercise command and control during crises while maintaining a calm, non-aggressive, and reassuring demeanor consistent with the company’s spiritual values.
  • Discretion and Respect: Absolute commitment to conducting security operations with the highest degree of discretion, professionalism, and respect for individual dignity and privacy.
  • Ethical Conduct: Unquestionable integrity and zero-tolerance for misconduct, ensuring the entire security team operates as an ethical reflection of the company’s mission.
  • Service-Oriented Security: The ability to see security as a foundational service to the residents’ peace of mind, not merely a function of deterrence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
