About The Role
APM/PM is required to work on autosuggest, free text search, spell correction on autosuggest/search, voice search , multilingual voice search centric tech products. This role requires you to influence a cross-functional team and deliver consistently . This role coordinates and inspires the creation of innovative products and services in an agile development environment and ensures delivery of the features and functionality to maintain and grow business. The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and bringing products to market while meeting key business objectives
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in building and managing consumer tech products.
- Prior experience in autosuggest, search, image search, and voice search is preferred.
- Has experience on working on user-facing apps and verticals within apps from the product point of view.
- Well-versed in writing technical specs & requirements.
- Should be able to translate ideas into wireframes, designs, etc.
- Has experience in understanding the business strategy and customer needs to ensure product functionality within the given timelines.
- Good to have a resource who has prior knowledge of analytics tools such as google analytics.
- Should be able to extract (using Kibana for e.g.), understand, and decode APIs and their response.
- Has experience in releasing products and gathering customer feedback and using the same to build better products.
- Understands technology. Should strive to focus on great user experience and stay updated on what is trending with the best practices and market disruptors.
- Should be organized and can plan, forecast, and manage a product backlog.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Should be able to effectively communicate and work with various stakeholders across the organization.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with engineering to drive product development from conceptualization through launch - creating actionable plans, work streams, and tactics and delivering on those in support of business KPIs.
- Manages the product roadmap for your strategic area, setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders.
- Works with product marketing, design, engineering, quality, etc. to successfully deliver products to market.
- Leverages data/analytics to make tactical and strategic product decisions.
- Demonstrate favourable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.
- Cultivates a deep understanding of the customer and works tirelessly to identify new opportunities to improve their experience.
- Produces and manages usability studies, product metrics, and competitive, customer, and market analysis into product requirements to identify new opportunities.
- Strives to be a subject matter expert in their strategic focus area(s) by identifying the challenges our customers face and defining new opportunities to improve our customers experience.
- Controls scope of large projects
- Removes business-related roadblocks to ensure successful product delivery on time and within scope.
