Title: Operations/Project Manager(Precision Manufacturing)

Location: Rajkot/Pune (West India)

Role Overview

• The Project Manager is responsible for the seamless coordination and timely completion of production projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution from inception to completion.
• The Project Manager will establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and report on the progress of projects. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including precision machining, die casting, investment casting, forging, sheet metal fabrication, and precision fabrication, is essential.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered in line with customer expectations and timelines.
• Budget Adherence: Strictly manage project budgets to avoid overruns.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from the development stage through to production, ensuring all major milestones are met.
• Vendor Management: Effectively manage vendors to meet company standards for billing, quality, and timelines.
• Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement systems to enhance factory efficiency and productivity. Utilize value engineering methods to optimize performance across all projects.
• Export Shipping and Documentation: Manage export shipping processes and handle all related documentation to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Customer Handling: Ability to prepare technical presentations and present them to the customer during project kick-offs, provide weekly progress updates, and respond quickly to customer inquiries.
• Internal Team Coordination: Ability to effectively coordinate with team members (including Quality, Vendor Management, and Finance) to ensure seamless collaboration and progress throughout the project.
• Project Monitoring & Control: Ability to prepare project tracking sheets, monitor project status, resolve issues during execution, follow internal processes, maintain necessary documentation, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven record of delivering and managing multiple vendors for projects
• Education: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial and Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ Years of Proven experience in the manufacturing field.
• Skillset:
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient in planning, management, and leadership.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define and implement effective processes and strategies.
• Proficiency in office software.
• Languages - Hindi, English (Preferred)
