Intercompany Analyst

Location - Chennai Siruseri

Shift - 12.30-10.30pm IST

Role & responsibilities

• Act as the designated contact for all intercompany inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication between global/internal business units.
• Maintain a clear understanding of intercompany processes and policies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Accounting, Controlling, Operations, Tax, Supply Chain, Treasury and Conduent) to resolve discrepancies and operational bottlenecks.
• Liaise directly with Treasury to monitor aged intercompany receivables and payables and analyze ageing reports, identify overdue items, and drive resolution with relevant teams.
• Review, validate, and reconcile intercompany with the support from Conduent
• Investigate mismatches or exceptions and follow through to resolution
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries related to intercompany transactions.
• Lead a weekly cross-functional meeting to review intercompany status, aged debt, open items, and upcoming deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Experience in intercompany accounting, shared services, or corporate finance 5+ yrs experience
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across time zones/cultures.
• Ability to work effectively with ERP systems (SAP, HFM, or similar).
