Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst with strong experience in the insurance domain and process/data mapping.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and create detailed mappings to support system implementations, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT to gather and document business requirements.

Process Mapping: Create detailed as-is and to-be process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS to visualize workflows and identify inefficiencies

1 2. Data Mapping: Define and document data flows between systems, ensuring alignment with business rules and regulatory requirements.

Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current and desired states and propose actionable solutions.

Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Documentation: Prepare BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing teams.

Testing Support: Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Compliance Risk: Ensure mapped processes adhere to insurance regulations and support risk mitigation strategies 2.
