Installation Engineer

On-Site Installation: Lead and execute the physical installation of water treatment equipment, including but not limited to RO plants, STP/ETP, water softeners, filtration systems, and associated piping, pumps, and electrical components, according to engineering drawings and specifications. Site Preparation & Coordination: Assess site conditions, prepare the installation area, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. System Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of installed systems, including pressure tests, leak detection, functional checks, and performance validation, to ensure compliance with design parameters and operational requirements. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during installation and commissioning, making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure optimal system performance. Quality Assurance: Ensure all installation work adheres to company standards, industry best practices, and relevant safety regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including daily progress reports, material consumption, and commissioning data. Prepare hand-over documentation for clients. Client Training: Provide basic operational training to clients' personnel on the installed water treatment systems. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with project managers, design engineers, and other team members to achieve project goals. Post-Installation Support: Provide initial post-installation support and address any immediate concerns or adjustments required. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the installation and commissioning of water treatment plants/systems. Strong understanding of water treatment processes (RO, UF, STP/ETP, filtration, softening, etc.) and associated equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics. Hands-on experience with piping, plumbing, pump installation, and basic electrical connections. Familiarity with various types of sensors, controllers, and automation components used in water treatment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various on-site environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to various project sites within Maharashtra and potentially beyond, as required. Valid driver's license preferred.
