Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Sales & Lead Management

  • Conduct daily outbound calls to 70 to 80 customers (inbound + outbound combined) (approx. 1500 calls per month) to promote products, resolve queries, and drive sales conversion.
  • Generate 40 to 60 leads per month ( 3 to 4% from call volume)
  • Ensure 80% of the leads are qualified (32-48 qualified leads per month)
  • Ensure 40% to 50% qualified leads (20 to 25 orders per month) are converted into successful sales closure
  • Manage the entire lead lifecycle from capturing, tracking, and nurturing to conversion and retention.
  • Maintain CRM records with up-to-date customer interactions and conversion outcomes.

Product Promotion & Marketing

  • Manage and monitor product promotions on various websites (FSSAI-approved platforms such as 1mg, Netmeds, etc.) in coordination with the Social Media & Branding Consultant.
  • Execute online product visibility campaigns, promotional offers, and banner content uploads in consultation with the Reporting Manager.
  • Collaborate with Social Media & Branding Consultant to post engaging content (product highlights, FAQs, offers, educational snippets) across digital channels and marketplaces.
  • Support activities related to customer reviews, online reputation management, and performance tracking of product listings.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Follow up with Customers you have abandoned the cart (online orders)
  • Share daily and weekly reports on calls made, lead generated, qualified leads, and conversions achieved.

Provide market feedback, competitor activity insights, and customer trends for continuous improvement in product positioning and outreach.

Excellent verbal communication and convincing skills in English and local languages.

Goal-oriented, energetic, and capable of handling a high volume of customer interactions daily.

Strong ability to follow structured sales scripts and maintain professional tone and accuracy.

Good understanding of FSSAI-approved products, wellness kits, or lab consumables.

Basic digital marketing awareness (content posting, listing, and promotion tracking).

Competent in using MS Excel, CRM tools, and email communication effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in pharmacy, Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Business

Experience

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in

    tele sales/ inside sales

    , within

    pharma, diagnostics or wellness products domain.

  • Exposure to online health marketplaces (e.g., 1mg, Netmeds, PharmEasy) is advantageous.
  • Prior B2C sales experience is essential.
