Job Summary:

The IT Manager will oversee the school’s technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of all digital systems, networks, and hardware. The role involves managing IT operations, supporting teaching-learning technology, ensuring data security, and leading digital transformation initiatives within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT systems, networks, and software.
Ensure data security, regular backups, and compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
Manage and support smart classrooms, ERP systems, and digital learning platforms.
Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Plan and execute IT upgrades and new implementations.
Train staff and teachers on effective use of technology tools.
Supervise IT support staff and manage helpdesk operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in an educational setup.
Strong knowledge of networking, server management, and educational software.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

Experience in managing school ERP, LMS, CCTV, and biometric systems.
