Description
As an Industry Solution Leader in Telecom, your role will involve supporting both pre-sales and delivery activities for data engineering/data science, consulting, and analytics solutions in the Telecom domain. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and work with internal technical teams to design and deliver scalable, insight-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business challenges and data maturity. - Define business use cases, target outcomes, and solution scope in collaboration with sales and solution architects. - Develop pre-sales collateral such as problem statements, value propositions, requirement outlines, and solution blueprints. - Conduct competitive and market research to inform solution design. - Translate client business requirements into user stories and functional specifications. - Shape data pipelines, analytical models, and dashboards with data engineers, data scientists, and visualization experts. - Lead requirement workshops, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. - Validate outputs through UAT and feedback sessions with clients. - Bring domain knowledge in areas like Network Operations, OSS/BSS, Customer Experience, Revenue Assurance, and Telco Analytics. - Stay updated with regulatory frameworks, digital transformation trends, and telecom sector developments. Qualifications/Requirements: - 12+ years of experience in business analysis roles, ideally in consulting, analytics, or digital services for pharma/life sciences clients. - Strong understanding of the data & analytics lifecycle and ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. - Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and modern data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with CRM/MCM tools, data models, cloud ecosystems, and agile delivery methods. - MBA, MPH, or a relevant master's degree. - Business analysis or pre-sales certifications. Soft Skills: - Consultative mindset with strong business acumen. - Ability to synthesize complex business needs into structured solutions. - Strong storytelling, documentation, and client presentation abilities.
