Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end hiring, from manpower planning and sourcing to selection and smooth onboarding for all plant staff.
Employee Relations

& Grievance Handling:
Address disputes, manage conflicts, and foster positive relationships on the shop floor, potentially handling labor union liaison.
Compliance

& Legal:
Ensure adherence to all labor laws, safety regulations (OSHA), and statutory obligations (EPF, ESIC), liaising with government bodies.
Performance Management:
Implement performance appraisal systems, track progress, and support managers in performance improvement plans.
Training & Development:
Design and deliver training programs, including skill enhancement and safety training, to develop talent.
Compensation & Benefits:
Administer payroll, benefits, leaves, and ensure fair compensation strategies.
Health, Safety & Welfare:
Lead initiatives for a safe workplace, manage workers' compensation, and oversee welfare programs.
Strategic HR:
Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, culture, and organizational development to support business growth.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS, and documentation.

Key Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, IR, or Business.
Experience:
Several years in HR, with significant experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, labor law knowledge, and business acumen.
