The incumbent will lead institutional and B2B project sales across a defined territory, with a core focus on building deep relationships with builders, promoters, and architects. The role involves sales planning, brand approvals in private projects, and managing a project-focused sales team to achieve business targets.
Required Skills / Abilities
1. Sales Planning & Forecasting
Strong capability in developing project-focused sales plans based on construction pipeline, influence cycles,and stakeholder engagement. Ability to forecast project stages and align internal actions accordingly.
2. B2B/Project Sales Management
Deep expertise in institutional/B2B selling to private builders and promoters. Must have a proven ability to influence specifications, establish credibility with senior decision-makers, and close high-value deals in long-cycle environments.
3. Negotiation Skills
Skilled in handling multi-stakeholder negotiations with builders and design influencers, including margin management, pricing strategies, objection handling and value selling.
4. Developing People
Experienced in building and guiding a high-output project sales team with a focus on field coaching, structured reviews, and professional development.
5. Entrepreneurial Mindset
Demonstrates strong ownership and initiative to build project pipelines, unlock new accounts, and convert early-stage specifications into final sales. Collaborates and coordinates effectively with multiple stakeholdersincluding internal teams, influencers, and channel partners—and fosters teamwork to drive shared outcomes.
