Position:

Job Summary:

Industrial Relations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of
industrial relations
, including union negotiations, settlements, grievance handling, and disciplinary proceedings.
Candidate should handle all the payroll, Vendor management
Ensure
statutory compliance
with labour laws and factory regulations (PF, ESIC, Contract Labour, Minimum Wages, Factories Act, etc.).
Liaise with
labour departments
, government officials, and external stakeholders for smooth compliance and IR operations.
Drive
employee engagement initiatives
and foster a positive work culture on the shop floor.
Maintain and update all statutory registers, returns, and documentation related to IR and compliance.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company and statutory policies.
Support HR in policy implementation, workforce planning, and dispute resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

6–12 years of relevant experience in
IR and compliance
within a
manufacturing or renewable energy industry
.
Strong knowledge of
labour laws
, government regulations, and statutory requirements.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle unions and local authorities effectively.
Experience in
greenfield or large plant setups
(preferred).
Proactive, ethical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
