Role Overview

We are seeking a senior commercial leader to spearhead

Scimplify’s expansion into the Japan

. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, strategic professional who can go beyond sales—building new markets, forging long-term partnerships, setting up operational frameworks, and driving Scimplify’s global growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy with a focus on imports, exports, and international logistics.
  • Manage global trade operations, including customs clearance, documentation, and regulatory compliance (DGFT, EXIM, GST, FEMA, etc.).
  • Optimize import/export processes to reduce lead times, improve cost efficiency, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs agents, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and distribution strategies to support business objectives.
  • Drive supplier negotiations and contracts to secure competitive freight rates and optimize working capital.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to align trade policies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and country-specific regulations.
  • Implement digital tools and automation to enhance visibility and control over supply chain processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
