Role Description:

The Import Executive is responsible for managing and executing the entire import customs clearance process efficiently, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations, minimizing delays, and optimizing costs.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and verify all necessary import documentation, including Bills of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and technical specifications.
• Customs Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with Customs authorities and relevant government agencies (e.g., DGFT, FSSAI) for clearance and inspection processes.
• Duty and Tax Calculation: Accurately calculate and ensure timely payment of Customs Duties, GST, and other applicable levies.
• Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to national and international trade regulations, tariff classifications (HS Code), and valuation rules.
• Freight Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and timely receipt of goods.
