Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. Key Responsibilities
Required technical and professional expertise
- 24/7 Rotational Shit, support and operations
- Administer, configure, and maintain IBM Maximo and MAS environments.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Manage database performance, tuning, and maintenance, particularly with Db2 and other relational databases.
- Lead and support Maximo to MAS migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
- Deploy, configure, and manage MAS components within Kubernetes environments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support integrations with third-party systems.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and DevOps methodologies.
- Provide guidance and support for upgrade and patch management.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience with IBM Maximo and MAS.
- Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, configurations, and administration.
- Experience with Maximo to MAS migration.
- Proficiency in working with databases such as Db2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Experience troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code principles is a plus.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Certification in IBM Maximo or MAS is a plus.
- Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration frameworks.
