As we expand, we’re looking for a proactive and passionate HR Manager who can take complete ownership of daily HR operations and employee experience.

Role Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the entire HR lifecycle — from recruitment to exit — ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. The role demands consistency, strong communication, and the ability to drive a positive work culture aligned with SunShell Power’s values.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Recruitment & Onboarding

-Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower needs.

-Manage end-to-end recruitment — job posting, screening, interview coordination, and selection.

-Draft offer letters and maintain recruitment records.

-Conduct smooth onboarding and induction programs for new hires.

-Maintain and update employee database and documentation.

🔹 Employee Engagement & Communication

-Plan and execute monthly employee engagement activities and celebration events.

-Handle internal communication (birthdays, achievements, announcements).

-Develop and manage recognition programs (awards, appreciations, and festival gifts).

-Organize annual and quarterly events such as team outings, Women’s Day, and Diwali celebrations.

🔹 Performance Management

-Assist the HR Head in implementing the performance appraisal process.

-Track KRAs and facilitate mid-year and annual reviews.

-Maintain performance data and coordinate with team leads for feedback.

🔹 Employee Relations & Administration

-Be the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.

-Support in enforcing company policies and HR guidelines.

-Conduct exit formalities including clearance, feedback, and documentation.

-Maintain employee records (digital & physical) and ensure data confidentiality.

🔹 Compliance & Reporting

-Maintain HR trackers — recruitment, onboarding, exits, engagement, and attendance (no payroll).

-Ensure statutory compliance (leave policy, working hours, etc.) are followed.

-Prepare and share monthly HR reports/dashboards with the HR Head.

Key Skills & Competencies

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong organisational and multitasking ability

-High sense of ownership and attention to detail

-Creative in employee engagement and communication

-Sound understanding of HR processes and statutory norms

Preferred Qualifications

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration

-2-5 years of HR generalist experience (preferably in small to mid-size companies)

-Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace and HR tools

-Prior experience in renewable energy or engineering sectors (preferred but not mandatory)

What We Offer

-A people-first culture that values growth and collaboration

-Opportunity to lead and implement impactful HR initiatives

-Exposure to end-to-end HR operations and strategy

-Dynamic work environment with direct access to leadership
